A booster appointment worth having
A vaccination visit is the one appointment most pets have every year, so we treat it as a proper annual health check rather than an injection and a wave goodbye.
Vaccines travel with us in temperature-controlled storage. We check what your pet actually needs — core vaccines, kennel cough, rabbit myxomatosis and RVHD — rather than repeating everything by habit, and record it all for boarding, insurance and travel.
Puppies and kittens get their whole course at home, which means their early experiences of a vet involve their own carpet instead of a stainless steel table.
Puppy courses & annual boosters
Primary course, first-year booster and annual protection, with kennel cough where boarding or day care requires it. Microchipping can be done at the same visit.
Kitten and adult vaccination
Flu and enteritis protection, leukaemia cover for cats who go outside, and a calm indoor appointment for cats who cannot be caught for a car journey.
Myxomatosis and RVHD 1 & 2
Annual combined vaccination in the hutch or run, with a check of teeth, weight and hind-end cleanliness while we are there.
Flea, tick and worming plans
Prescription parasite control matched to your pet’s weight, lifestyle and local risk — including lungworm advice for dogs who hunt slugs and snails.
Vaccination questions
My pet’s booster has lapsed — is it too late?
Not at all. Depending on how long it has been, your pet may need a restart course rather than a single booster. Tell us the last date you have and we will explain what is needed before we visit.
Can you vaccinate several pets in one visit?
Yes, and it usually works out cheaper than separate trips to a surgery. Multi-pet households are one of the main reasons people move to home visits.
Will the certificate be accepted by boarding kennels?
Yes. We issue the standard vaccination record signed by the attending veterinary surgeon, which kennels, catteries, day care and insurers accept.
